Can I start with a Standard Listing and then upgrade to a Business Landing Page later? 

Absolutely. You can even keep both - good for the calendar year from the date we post.

How Are Listings Cross-Referenced?

If you look at the overall Baja Restaurants Page for instance, every restaurant has a link, in the case of a Business Landing Page, the link will go directly to the landing page.  If it is a basic listing, the link will go to the 'Ensenada Restaurants' Page with all of the other Ensenada Restaurants. Business Landing Page clients will also have a basic listing that links back to their Business Landing Page.

How do you select who gets to the top of the list in any category? 

Business Landing Page customers are automatically placed at the top of the list in any category as they register. Basic listings are inserted after all of the Business landing page listings.

Can I have a Standard Listing in more than one category? 

We ask you to select one main category for your Basic Listing but you may pay for and register different ones for different categories if you wish.  This is certainly appropriate for example:  A Restaurant that is also listed as a Live Music Venue which might also be a Micro Brewery.  You get the idea.  Business Landing Page Customers are automatically added to several directory lists for all categories which might apply (included).

What does it mean to be 'Featured in the Norte Baja Newsletter' ?  

If you are a Business Landing Page customer we will be mentioning you in the next newsletter issue and linking to your place on the Directory. Our newsletters are all SEO optimized and are published in perpetuity so they can be found in future web searches on related topics etc.  We also do featured and flagship articles on our main subject areas (Baja Wine makers etc.) where we will also include links to our Landing Page Businesses and Banner advertisers.

Can I lock in 'Founders Pricing' for the future? 

Yes, If you join us this year, before we get crazy busy we will honor your original annual sign up price for as long as you renew without interruption, each year.  We will send you a reminder email approx. 1 month before your renewal date so you can take advantage of this.  Price increases will regularly update, the busier we get.

What are 'Business Mixers' all about? 

In our busiest cities with the most concentration of our advertisers we will be hosting fun meet and greet business mixer events.  These will include live music, the opportunity for our advertisers to set up displays and meet the public etc. Preference for mixer locations (like your bar or restaurant) will go to our existing advertisers.

If we want to do a combination of banner ads and a business landing page do we get some kind of discount? 

We're here to help your business, so yes.  We'll take a look at your whole package and see what makes sense and will work best for you on a case by case basis.

Can I make changes to my Premium Business Landing Page or Standard Directory Listing?

Premium landing pages - yes but we encourage you to keep it to just a few annually - it's not a full web page that continually evolves (we have those kind of services available). Our aim is to connect your business directly with customers and have you take it from there.  Basic Directory Listings are static unless you have a critical address or phone number change etc.

You have already included my business in your directory, If I don't sign up for anything will it still be there? 

As you might have noticed, these early listings are pretty simple at this point, and we haven't had time to provide much deeper information about every business.  Of course we want to include you to make our directory more thorough and complete, but non-paid listings will eventually be pushed off the page by paid listings.  If you want your business removed now, let us know at BajaCaliforniaNorth@Gmail.com and we'll get after it.

How can we offer discounts and special deals to website visitors or let them know about our events? 

We have a special section of the website for this with instructions for Business landing Customers and Banner Advertisers we will send to you later once you sign up.

What is the 'As Seen On' Badge all about? 

We automatically put this on the landing page we design for you and encourage you to include it on your own social media or other website.  Backlinks are another way to show authority to search engines and bring more traffic to you and to us. We're on this team together.

What other stuff will you be offering? 

We have lots of other ideas and initiatives we will be rolling out once the basic launch is accomplished this summer.  Look forward to seeing us around on the web, but also in person at various live streaming events and happenings that we want to cover and include on the site.
